Isolation of natural compounds for application in pharmaceuticals or biological systems; syn\"\"<\/a>thesis of organic and inorganic products for pharmaceuticals and other applications. This research field also includes plant and bacterial metabolites studies for several scientific applications. In bio-inorganic area seek to obtain compounds that mimic the structural and reactivity properties of metalloenzymes. To this end, coordination compounds containing metal ions from the first transition period are synthesized and evaluated for the ability to promote the same chemical reaction (catalysis) performed by the metalloenzyme in question.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
