Mission:
Enhance the sustainable rural development project in Rio de Janeiro by leveraging the scientific and technological tools of Agroecology.

Objective:
Train professionals working in technical assistance, research, and rural extension to understand the structure, functioning, and management of agroecological systems. This training integrates concepts and principles from ecology and social sciences, applying Agroecology’s criteria and parameters within a multidisciplinary approach to promote sustainable rural development.
