The Graduate Program in Biosciences and Biotechnology

The Graduate Program in Biosciences and Biotechnology at the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro – UENF (State University of Northern Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro) aims to prepare MSc and PhD with a solid scientific foundation, guided by ethical principles and aware of their role in regional, national and international science, innovation and development.

Since its inception in 1994, PGBB has already graduated 242 Doctors and 476 Masters (updated on 06/03/2025).

The research conducted by PPGBB’s faculty is distributed among the research lines of the two main areas of concentration:
