Research
Research is structured around three main axes: (1) sociology of violence and illegal markets, focusing on the social accumulation of violence, territorial control by armed groups, and organized crime dynamics; (2) analysis of the criminal justice system, focusing on procedural flows and penal execution, exploring selectivity and the impact of legal and extralegal variables; and (3) the interface between public policy and illegalisms, examining how urban policies, especially housing, interact with armed domination and everyday resistance strategies in violent territories.
