Ongoing Registry of Collaborations and Co-authorships

Ongoing Registry of Collaborations and Co-authorships

The Ongoing Registry of Collaborations and Co-authorships is a form that must be regularly shared and promoted by active members of the Graduate Program in Political Sociology (PPGSP), including faculty, interns, and students, and should be completed by external collaborators involved in research projects or co-authored works.

For every established project partnership, or for each research, teaching, or extension work that takes shape and is published, we ask that our faculty, interns, and students send the Ongoing Registry form to their collaborators and co-authors who are external to the PPGSP. Ideally, we emphasize, the external member should fill in and submit the form themselves. Otherwise, for example, the same professor would have to submit multiple entries—one for each individual in their collaboration network—and repeat the process whenever the network changes or new collaborations or publications arise involving individuals not yet registered.

Therefore, we suggest that whenever a project establishes a collaborative relationship and a team of contributors is formed, or whenever a work is published in co-authorship (extended abstracts, full papers, book chapters, books, or peer-reviewed articles), the co-authors involved should be invited to complete and submit the form.

This process will allow the collaboration networks of the entire PPGSP community to be recorded and integrated with each member’s curriculum data (students, interns, and professors), according to specific demands required by the data collection process in the Sucupira Platform.
