The Graduate Program in Political Sociology at UENF expresses its sorrow over the passing of Professor Roberto Kant de Lima. Having made an invaluable contribution to Brazilian social sciences, Kant de Lima was particularly involved in the original proposal for our program. He also contributed to the structuring of the undergraduate degree in Social Sciences at UENF. His legacy will continue to enrich new generations of researchers. To his family, friends, colleagues, and companions along his academic journey, we extend our solidarity.
