Studying abroad is an enriching experience for undergraduate and graduate students who will have the opportunity to expand their academic skills, while experiencing another culture and perfecting themselves in another language.
All of these elements are important in the academic and citizen education of future professionals who will work in the national or international job market. Doing an internship at other national institution will also expand their academic skills.
In order to ASSAII provide you a full support during your experience period outside UENF, we ask you to complete and send us the Mobility Form – outgoing to assaii@uenf.br.
For the Brazilian student, UENF offers two categories of opportunities for student mobility:
1. Programs sponsored by foreign institutions or countries
These Programs are managed by foreign institutions. ASSAII regularly publishes information on international mobility opportunities on its page and also by the Communication Advisory – ASCOM of UENF. Information is also sent to coordinators of undergraduate and graduate courses.
In these programs, Brazilian students must apply for assistance directly to foreign institutions. Therefore, interested students should contact ASSAII (assaii@uenf.br) before requesting support from the Program so that they can be helped with the procedures to be done inside and outside the UENF. Different opportunities have different requirements.
2. Specific agreements associated with a theme or line of research
The agreements are collaboration programs between UENF and another foreign institution coordinated by a UENF professor. The student should contact the teacher responsible for the agreement to obtain information about opportunities.
